Angola to Host 2025 U.S.-Africa Business Summit: A Milestone Event

Angola has been confirmed as the host of the 2025 U.S.-Africa Business Summit, following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between Angola and the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA). This landmark agreement, signed in Washington, D.C., by Angola’s Ambassador, H.E. Agostinho Van-Dunem, and CCA President Florie Liser, marks a significant step in strengthening U.S.-Africa trade relations.

The summit will coincide with Angola’s 50th anniversary of independence, further cementing its influence in African trade. Additionally, Angola will hold the African Union Chairmanship during this time, adding to its regional significance.

The 2025 summit aims to strengthen economic ties between the United States and Africa, showcasing Angola's commitment to advancing partnerships with the U.S. Angola is already a leader in sectors like energy, infrastructure, health, and the digital economy. The summit will provide a platform to showcase its potential for growth in these industries.

This event will focus on sustainable development and new business collaborations. Leaders from both continents are expected to explore new opportunities for mutual prosperity. Angola, now a mega city with an estimated population of 10 million people, is set to host more than 1,500 delegates, including African Heads of State, Ministers, key U.S. officials, and CEOs and senior executives of U.S. and African businesses.
